Prophet Kent Simpson once had a prophetic radio program and has traveled the world blessing others with the prophetic gift that God has given him. He has put away his traveling shoes and devotes his time to ministering worldwide through personal prophesies.
Kent has prophesied to countless individuals through radio, meetings, personal prophecy tapes...he is the prophet from Texas who prophesied to Steve Shultz of The Elijah List that he would one day be connecting the prophets by computer.
God first started speaking to Kent as a ten year old boy when God warned Kent that his mother would die in an automobile accident that day. Through the years Kent realized that God was speaking to him and had gifted him with being able to see and to hear God for others. Kent Simpson is a seasoned prophetic minister who humbly serves God and walks in "The Office of the Prophet."

A number of years ago, I was in a very difficult place and was not able to reach our Heavenly Father. I prayed and prayed to no avail. Every time I began telling Him all that I was confronted with, He seemed to turn from me. First I thought I had angered Him in some way and needed to repent, but for what? This went on for days and days and then finally a breakthrough came. As I was watching the late Reverend E.V. Hill on TV he started talking about counting your blessings. As I began to recall all the times our Father had worked miracles in my life hope began to grow. As I continued listening I learned that recalling all of these miraculous events was not just to encourage me but much more.
I learned that I was to brag on our Father for all the good things He had done for me. This became the key to touching our Father. Getting His attention by telling Him how good He had been to me and the wonderful things He had done for me struck a cord that gained me entrance to His throne. I no longer felt the need to bring up my problems or tell him what my needs were. After all, He knows our needs before we even ask. Suddenly a thought came to me and it was not from my own mind but from the mind of our Father. In this thought came a clear direction to take and within the hour I was on the road traveling to where I knew I needed to be. When I arrived at my destination I met a man of God whom I visited with for a while and then He told me that God had sent him to the same place where we had met. He then told me he had been carrying some money that was for another purpose but that plan had changed. Therefore, he blessed me with the funds and that was just the beginning of many more episodes of our Father's love.
Spiritual GiftsWhat Were You Created to Do?
What God does for you will be different than what He does for me. What He speaks to you will be different than what He speaks to me. The way He uses you will be different than the way He uses me, because He did not create us as clones. Each one of us has an unique and special spiritual gift within us, and we need to be able to identify what we have been created to do.
For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. Romans 12:4-8

We need to be aware of how Jesus moved and walked. The things Jesus did were done according to the will of the Father. He said, "I do nothing of my own authority. I speak what I hear the Father say." This is the Christian way, Jesus is the example for all Christians.
Many times Jesus would pray to find out what the Father had to say. When Jesus prayed angels would ascend and descend upon him giving Him instructions from heaven above. "Thy will be on earth as it is in heaven." That means we need to find out first from heaven what needs to be done. And when you find out what it is that you are to do, nothing can stop you. Nothing!
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. Assuredly, I say to you, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom. Matthew 16:27,28
